ABN AMRO: Speeddatesession for Risk analysts

About the speeddate session

On Thursday the 1st of July 2021, 15.30-17.00, ABN AMRO is organizing together with the Refugee Talent Hub an online speeddate session for Risk analysts. During the online speeddate session you will meet with hiring managers and recruiters from ABN AMRO. The goal? A paid job at ABN AMRO! You will also be prepared for this session on Monday 28th of June, 15.30-17.00. During this preparation session of 28th of June, you will receive tips & tricks to increase your chances on succeeding the interviews with the hiring managers.

What we expect from you

  • You have a status or a W-document

  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory) and Dutch (Preferable).

  • You can work and think at HBO/WO level and you have a strong quantitative education in an area such as pure mathematics, econometrics, actuarial studies, or physics.

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience

  • You have access to a computer (with camera) and internet, this is necessary for the speeddate session.

  • You are proactive, an excellent team player, analytical thinker, good at time management, ambitious, good interpersonal skills and communication and creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.

Mandatory skills/experiences/knowledge:

Strong analytic skills and affinity with data analytics, (pre)processing, and data handling. You have skills in software packages for statistical and data analysis, such as Python, SAS, R, and MATLAB.

You want to prove yourself in a quantitative modelling environment, and to apply your skills to derive meaningful, robust, data driven models to guide business decisions.

You work well within a team, and can take responsibility for making your contribution to successful delivery

Good knowledge of statistics, econometrics, financial mathematics, stochastic calculus or machine learning.

Able to effectively communicate about your analysis and results.

Able to work independently and under pressure

Extra’s:

Knowledge of the Dutch language (speaking, writing, listening)

Knowledge of financial markets and products is a great addition but not necessary. A PhD.

Multiple years of work experience in risk modelling (preferably on at least one of the following subjects: IFRS9, Stress Test and/or Operational Risk)?

Experience working in an Agile environment
