Introductie
Ctac en de Refugee Talent Hub organiseren een mentorprogramma. Voor dit programma zoeken wij kandidaten met een vluchtelingenachtergrond die hulp zoeken bij het vinden van een baan. Je wordt gematcht voor 5 maanden met een mentor van Ctac. Samen met deze mentor geef je jouw professionele ontwikkeling een boost. Het programma start op 27 februari 2023. Er is beperkt plek, dus meld je snel aan voor het Ctac mentorprogramma!
Met een vluchtelingenachtergrond een baan vinden is niet altijd makkelijk. Bijvoorbeeld omdat je een klein netwerk hebt, weinig weet over werken in Nederland of weinig werkgevers ontmoet. Om het vinden van een baan makkelijker te maken, organiseert Ctac dit mentorprogramma voor jou.
We kijken er naar uit om je te ontmoeten!
Over het mentorprogramma
Je mentor van Ctac zal je één-op-één helpen bij zaken zoals:
Doelen opstellen voor tijdens je carrière en het mentorprogramma;
Je CV maken of verbeteren;
Een professionele LinkedIn-pagina maken om jezelf nóg beter te presenteren op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt;
Je voorbereiden op toekomstige sollicitatieprocedures door sollicitatievragen te oefenen en te bespreken wat voor vervolgstappen gebruikelijk zijn als je solliciteert bij een bedrijf;
Oefenen met netwerken en leren hoe je je professionele netwerk kan laten groeien;
Aan de ene kant zal jouw mentor dus zijn/haar kennis, vaardigheden en professionele netwerk met je delen. Maar aan de andere kant, kan jouw mentor natuurlijk ook veel van jou leren! Tijdens de fysieke bijeenkomsten en online check-ins zul je meer leren over elkaar, over werk in het algemeen en over Ctac in het bijzonder.

Wat verwachten we van jou?
Je hebt een vluchtelingenachtergrond;
Je zoekt naar een baan en wilt daarbij geholpen worden;
Je bent aanwezig bij de gezamenlijke online en live events (zie Belangrijke data);
Vanaf 27 februari 2023 kun je voor 5 maanden één keer in de week online of in het echt afspreken met je mentor;
Vereist: je Nederlands of Engels is op een voldoende niveau om deel te nemen aan dit mentorprogramma;
Je CV staat in onze database;
Je bent enthousiast en gemotiveerd om het maximale uit het mentorprogramma te halen;
Je hebt toegang tot een computer (met camera) en internet, wat nodig is voor videobellen;
Belangrijke data
Kick-off (live*): maandag 27 februari, 10 uur, CTAC kantoor
Eerste check-in (online): maandag 20 maart, van 13 tot 14 uur
Tweede check-in (online): maandag 17 april, van 13 tot 14 uur
Closing event (live*): maandag 10 juli, 10 uur, CTAC kantoor
*Live meetings zullen plaatsvinden bij Ctac en reiskosten zullen worden vergoed.

Introduction
Ctac and the Refugee Talent Hub are organizing a professional mentorship program. For this program we are looking for candidates with a refugee background who would like to be supported in their search for a job. For 5 months, you will be matched with an employee from Ctac who will help you boost your professional development. The program will start on the 27th of February. There are limited spots available, so register quickly for the Ctac Mentoring Program!
As a person with a refugee background who would like to work, you are likely to face challenges in finding a job. For example, because you have a small professional network, know little about the Dutch labor market or find it difficult to meet employers. Ctac and The Refugee Talent Hub are offering this mentor program to help you overcome these challenges.

About the Mentoring Program
As a mentee in the program, you will receive one-on-one guidance and support from a mentor from Ctac in multiple ways, including:
Setting career goals and formulating concrete next steps for your career during the 5 months of this mentor program;
Creating/improving your CV and receiving guidance on how to create a professional LinkedIn page to present yourself better on the Dutch labor market;
Preparing for future job interviews by practicing interview questions and discussing how to follow up;
Enhancing networking skills and learning how to identify opportunities to grow your network;
On the one hand, your mentor will share his/her knowledge, skills and professional network with you. On the other hand, your mentor can also learn a lot from you as well! During the physical and online meetings, you will learn more about each other, the work in general and Ctac in particular.

What do we expect from you?
You have a refugee background;
You would like to increase your chances on the Dutch labor market;
You are present during the online and live events (see Important dates);
From 27th of February, you can meet once every week with your mentor, either in-person or online over the course of 5 months;
Must: your Dutch or English is at a sufficient level to participate in this mentor program;
You are enthusiastic and motivated to get the most out of the mentor program;
You have access to a computer (with camera) and internet, which is necessary for video calls;
Important dates
Kick-off (live*): Monday, 27th of February, 10:00, CTAC office
First check-in (online): Monday, 20th of March, from 13 till 14 o'clock
Second check-in (online): Monday, 17th of April, from 13 till 14 o'clock
Closing event (live*): Monday, 10th of July, 10:00, CTAC office
*The live meetings will take place at the Ctac office and travel expenses will be compensated.
