About the speeddate session
On Thursday the 1st of July 2021, 15.30-17.00, ABN AMRO is organizing together with the Refugee Talent Hub an online speeddate session for IT Development Engineers During the online speeddate session of you will meet with hiring managers and recruiters from ABN AMRO. The goal? A paid job at ABN AMRO! You will also be prepared for this session on Monday 28th of June, 15.30-17.00. During this preparation session of 26th of April, you will receive tips & tricks to increase your chances on succeeding the interviews with the hiring managers. Role description
ABN AMRO is looking for different IT Talents! We are looking for a IT talents who recognizes themself in the competences below. We don't expect you to master everything, but at least be familiar with the terms and willing to learn. If you match some/all of below competences, please make sure they are mentioned in your CV.
What we expect from you
You have a status or a W-document
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory) and Dutch (Preferable).
You can work and think at HBO/WO level and you have a an education in Computer Science, Information Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or related fields.
You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
You have access to a computer (with camera) and internet, this is necessary for the speeddate session.
You are proactive, an excellent team player, analytical thinker, eager to learn and share knowledge, seek responsibility and challenges, have an exploratory mindset and are on the lookout for new developments.
Mandatory skills/experiences/knowledge:
Preferably multiple years of work experience in the development/engineering field.
Knowledge of and/or experience in working Agile, Scrum and/or DevOps.
Knowledge of and/or experience with developing, implementing and maintaining software solutions and/or applications.
Knowledge of and/or experience in an Azure/AWS environments.
Knowledge of and/or experience with multiple programming languages like: Python, Java, Javascript, C# and C++.
You have strong IT skills, such as Service Oriented Architecture / Web Services – REST, and markup languages like XML, JSON and HTML.
Knowledge of and/or experience with SQL Databases.
Knowledge of and/or familiar with the following tools: Jenkins, API’s, JIRA and Bitbucket.
Knowledge of and/or experience with CI/CD concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and Continuous Testing.
Knowledge of and/or experience with translating business needs to IT solutions.
You always look to improve our application and its performance.
Extra’s
Knowledge of the Dutch language (speaking, writing, listening), Experience in banking or other financial sector Azure certifications.
