This time, the Meet & Greet put on a financial jacket and 15 refugee talents participated in this day and got acquainted with the international company Vistra located at the Zuidas.
Not only was it a day of meeting, but it was also a day during which refugee talents had to prove themselves in solving two hypothetical business cases. During these business cases, the theoretical knowledge of the refugee talents was immediately tested, including the carefulness of the talents. For example, a number of figures were omitted from the financial statements and balance sheet here and there.
Of course, it was not only about the knowledge of the Refugee Talents, but the day was also focused on getting to know each other. For example, refugee talents have had discussions with four different Vistra employees, with different backgrounds. The talents participated with a great deal of novelty and knowledge and with great enthusiasm they also shared their stories and experiences with each other. Good conversations have resulted from this. A nice twist to this day was that those who presented well, may be eligible for a traineeship at Vistra, which starts annually in September.
All in all, a lot of talent was once again present at the Meet & Greet. Many thanks to Vistra for organizing this day. And we are very curious to know which talent(s) will be able to join Vistra’s traineeship in September.
