Accenture Mentoring Program

Refugee Talent Hub, UAF, and Accenture are set to launch an innovative mentoring program in April 2024, spanning six months.

Due to the overwhelming number of applications received, we have had to close the current recruitment process.

This initiative aims to pair participants with an Accenture employee, with a preference for candidates whose backgrounds align with Accenture.

Upon selection, candidates will be matched with an Accenture employee who will serve as their mentor and coach throughout the entire six-month program. Throughout the program's duration, you and your mentor will collaborate to enhance your job market opportunities. Mentors will generously share their knowledge, skills, and professional network. Moreover, your coach can offer personal advice, and you can turn to them for guidance on matters related to working in the Netherlands. The mentor is enthusiastic about sharing their experience and knowledge with you, while also being open to learning from your unique experiences. The program will include three sessions where you will have the opportunity to learn more about each other, the general work environment, and Accenture in particular.

We are looking forward to meeting you!

About the Mentoring Program

This program will focus on the specific opportunities and challenges that professionals may encounter in their work. As a mentee in the program, you will receive one-on-one guidance and support from a mentor from Accenture in multiple ways, including:

  • Setting career goals and formulating concrete next steps for your career during the 6 months of the mentor program;

  • Creating/improving your CV and receiving guidance on how to create a professional LinkedIn page to present yourself better on the Dutch labor market;

  • Preparing for future job interviews by practicing interview questions, and discussing how to follow up;

  • Enhancing networking skills and learning how to identify opportunities to grow your network.

  • Chance to participate in a live event where you will tackle subjects related to cultural awareness and develop your personal story for a job interview

On the one hand, your mentor will share his/her knowledge, skills, and professional network with you. On the other hand, your mentor can also learn a lot from you! During the physical meetings and online check-ins, you will learn more about each other, work in general, and Accenture in particular.
