Mentor Program: the Dutch labour market

Finding a job can be tough. You might not know many people, you know little about how things work in the Netherlands, or find it hard to meet employers. That's why FrieslandCampina and Refugee Talent Hub are organising this mentor program for you. There are only a few spots available, so sign up quickly for this wonderful program!

About the programme

Over the course of 6 months, you'll receive support from a FrieslandCampina employee. Together with them, you'll learn about steps you can take to find a job in the Netherlands. By the end of the programme, you will have worked on for example:

  • Creating a strong CV

  • Building a LinkedIn profile

  • Crafting a brief self-introduction (pitch)

  • Writing a compelling cover letter

  • Practicing job interviews

  • Expanding your professional network

  • Understanding the Dutch job market

  • Or, create a clear plan to achieve some of the goals above.

During the programme, FrieslandCampina employee will share their knowledge, skills, and network, and learn a lot from you as well. In addition, during these six months, you will have the chance to learn more about FrieslandCampina and meet other participants of this programme.

What is the mentor programme not?

The sessions with the mentor are not full-time training. During the kick-off, you will be matched to one FrieslandCampina employee with whom you'll work on your professional development and get help finding work in the Netherlands.

You will have in total 6 one-on-one sessions during the 3 months. The sessions will take place online or offline, each one will last 45 minutes and the sessions will take place every two weeks.

This programme doesn't guarantee a job (at FrieslandCampina). But it does increase your chances of success in the Dutch job market by improving your network, skills, and knowledge.
